1 Ke na le modisa, – Ke tla be ke hloka’ng? (The Lord is my Shepherd, – what shall i want?)
Ke ya ipitsang Jehova, – Modimo o phelang, (I call upon Jehova, – the living God)

2 O nkisa botaleng, – dijong tse mphedisang; (He leads me in green pastures, – the food hat keeps me alive;)
O nkalosa dinokaneng, – Metsing a nkodisang. (He leads me besides still waters, – the waters that quenches my thirst.)

3 Ha ke lahlehile, – O nkutlisetsa hae; (When i’m lost and have gone astray, – He leads me back home)
O nkisa tseleng ya ‘nete – Ka lerato la hae. (He lovingly guides me to the right path,)

4 Ha ke se ke feta – Khohlong e lefifi, (Though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death)
Ha nka ke ka tshoha tsela – E chehilweng wa hae (I will fear no evil)

5 Ke tshepa modisa, – ya disang ka leswai; (I trust in the great Shepherd, who shepherds)
Ke eena ya tla ntsedisa-Ka mohau wa hae, (He is the only one who can save me by His mercy)

6 dira di ka ntlhoya, – Ke sa ja monono; (my enemies may hate me, but I’m truly blessed)
Mohope wa khaphatseha, – Ke dutse ka thabo. (I’m forever joyful)

7 o sa tla mpaballa – le bophelong bona; (He always takes care of me, even in this life)
‘Me ke tla hlola ka mehla- ka ntlong ya Morena. (I will always dwell in His house forever.)
